Operations Division

The Operations Division of the Harford County Public Schools encompasses the daily operating functions of the school system. Its role is to provide support and services to the school administration and staff to facilitate the delivery of instruction.

The Operations office is also responsible for the activities related to balancing enrollment with capacity; use of public school facilities by outside groups; property management and acquisition; and emergency management planning and implementation.

Use of School Facilities

For Use of Facilities by outside groups in HCPS, please download and print out the Procedures and Use of Facilities Application form. Follow the directions on application for "Applicant" and submit one original and two copies to the school you wish to hold your event for approval by a school administrator. Applications must be submitted at least five weeks prior to the event date.
