Dear Parents, We are beginning a new theme titled Kid’s Choice. A theme titled Fall Trees will follow. During these themes, your child will learn the following concepts: · A good citizen is a member of a class, school, community or country who gets involved and shares responsibility for making his or her world a better place. · Voting is a process that involves registering, being informed, casting a ballot and tallying votes. · American citizens have the right and responsibility to vote, in order to be involved in making choices about leaders and other decisions which affect them. · A tree is a plant with a long wood stem that makes its own food and lives for a long time.
