100_1472.JPGChris is a graduate of Harford Day School and John Carroll High School, both of Bel Air, Maryland. After two years of undergraduate work in the area of Physical Anthropology at the University of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Canada, Chris transferred to Salisbury State University, Maryland, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. He returned to Harford County to teach third grade at Magnolia Elementary School. After four years at Magnolia, he transferred to Churchville Elementary School, where he taught fifth grade. After ten years teaching at Churchville, he transferred to Harford Glen in 2008 and began his career as an Outdoor Environmental Educator.

 

Chris is certified in Elementary Education.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Towson State University. Chris has also participated as an instructor for the Maryland Summer Center for Action Investigation at Harford Glen beginning in the summer of 2006. He has also served as an active Harford County volunteer firefighter/emergency medical technician since 1983 and as dive master and swift water rescue technician since 1996.
