WHY FORM THIS NETWORKING PARTNERSHIP?

Within Harford County many organizations have worked to make the world a better place through awareness and action.  These organizations have typically been very successful, but only to the extent that their individual mission statements have been fulfilled.  If all of these groups were to share goals and objectives with like-minded talents, knowledge and mission statements in larger, more connected ways could help to make a larger difference for the environment.  It was decided that we should also look for projects to support within the County; the County’s Annual Earth Day Celebration at Aberdeen was our first successful collaboration.  This year we will try to establish a local version of the Governor’s Youth Environmental Summit to encourage high school students to solve local environmental problems.
