During the Board of Education of Harford County’s Business Meeting held on Monday, June 8, 2009, Dr. Robert M. Tomback officially signed a contract, accepting his appointment to Superintendent of Schools for Harford County Public Schools. The appointment, effective July 1, 2009, was announced on June 3, 2009 during a press conference held at the HCPS A.A. Roberty Building Board Room. Pictured to the left, Dr. Tomback signs his contract alongside Board President Patrick L. Hess. At the Board meeting, Dr. Tomback also gave a brief speech on his appointment.
