V-LINC and HCC provide John Archer student with adapted bicycle
John Archer School, V-LINC, and Harford Community College (HCC) partnered to design an adapted bicycle for one of John Archer’s high school students, Ian Nohe.

V-LINC provides HCC engineering students with projects that come from the many requests they receive from people with disabilities who are in need of a special piece of equipment.  V-LINC personnel perform the preliminary visit, work with the staff at John Archer School, and provide HCC with the specifics of the requests.

V-LINC funds the project and provides HCC with engineering mentors to help work on the solution.

Lisa Ovelman, Engineering Faculty at Harford Community College, coordinated the John Archer project with her Introduction to Engineering Design students.
