Students from Joppatowne, Ring Factory, and Emmorton elementary schools earn first place in the Stock Market game
Students from Joppatowne, Ring Factory, and Emmorton elementary schools surpassed several other elementary schools in Maryland to take first place in the Stock Market Game, an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students in grades 4-12 in the world of economics, investing, and personal finance.  Participation in this yearly competition is organized by the Maryland Council on Economic Education (MCEE).   

The Student Achievement Awards luncheon, held on May 16, recognized the winning schools.  Congratulations to our state and regional winners!  

Statewide Award for Fall 2017:
