Brass Instruments

Brass Instruments are played using a mouthpiece.  Players make a "buzzing" sound into the mouthpiece by vibrating their lips together.  All brass instruments require proper mouth placement on the mouthpiece to make the correct sounds.  Please click on the following instruments to learn more about the brass family:
