Percussion Family
A Percussion instrument is defined as any instrument that is played by either hitting/tapping it to make a sound, or by shaking it to make a sound. It is very important that students who are interested in the percussion family know that they will be learning more than just the drums. Percussion students are required to learn all the instruments in the percussion family, including, but not limited to, the following instruments:
