Prospect Mill Elementary School is at the center of Harford County surrounded by scenic grounds and bordered by Harford Technical High School and John Archer School.  The faculty and parents are committed to providing a supportive and rigorous instructional program. Our continued success is the result of a dedicated staff, children who are eager to learn, and actively involved parents.

Our mission at Prospect Mill Elementary School is to provide rigorous, student-centered and relevant learning opportunities on a daily basis. We have a talented, experienced and dedicated staff who are devoted to the students and the school community they serve. Our staff works tirelessly to fulfill this mission each and every day as we continue to prepare students for the future and inspire them to make a difference. At Prospect Mill, We Believe, We Learn, and We Go.

The PMES PTA is dedicated to promoting the values of National PTA at our local school level: Every Child, One Voice. In partnership with school staff, we strive to provide quality programs for all of our students, such as AgLabs, cultural arts assemblies, International Night, Reflections National Arts Contest, curriculum-supported field trips as well as community service opportunities. Through support of our parents, staff and community business partners, we are able to provide these types of programs that will enhance the excellent educational experience at Prospect Mill.

Our Panda Peacemaker Character Education Program focuses on recognizing students for their outstanding character. Prospect Mill was recognized as a Maryland School winner for Character Education during the 2015-2016 school year. Each month we hold a Panda Pride Assembly to share good news and celebrate our successes in school, on the bus and in the cafeteria.

Each and every decision is made with the best interest of children in mind.  At Prospect Mill, we are committed to providing our students with a safe learning environment, high quality instruction and an overall positive educational experience each and every day.

Welcome to Prospect Mill Elementary School - Home of the Pandas and Panda Pride!
