Student Intern Information
Welcome to Harford County Public Schools!
As a student intern, you will have the opportunity to observe, interact, and eventually teach in a classroom of HCPS students. In order to prepare you, your college or university has guided you through courses and field placement opportunities. In order to familiarize you with policies and procedures in HCPS, you are required to review the following so that you will be prepared to succeed in our school system.
Counseling Interns and Full-Time Interns
You will find below the link to four PowerPoint presentations. Please be sure to have access to speakers as three of the presentations are narrated. You will also find three documents which must be completed and submitted to HCPS on or before January 18, 2019. The Student Intern Orientation Assessment and Bloodborne Pathogens Training Knowledge Check are online forms that will be submitted electronically upon completion. The Audio and Video Recording Agreement Form must be printed and completed by hand. You may scan this document and send it as an email to Lori.Gohlinghorst@hcps.org, send it via courier mail to Lori Gohlinghorst, Teacher Induction, Center for Educational Opportunity, or fax it to 410-273-5592, Attention Lori Gohlinghorst.
