A Conference for Students, Hosted by Harford County Public Schools & Harford Community College
Dear Business Leader and Partner in Education:
In order to meet the needs of eleventh grade students who are contemplating post-secondary options, Harford County Public Schools will host Futures11, a series of informative sessions touching on topics relevant to high school juniors.
Futures11 is scheduled for March 22, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. The conference will begin at 8:00 A.M., in the Amoss Center, with student orientation and opening remarks by the County Executive, David Craig, and the Superintendent, Dr. Robert Tomback.
The Keynote address will begin at 8:30 A.M. by Ms. Jill Smith, Director for the Communications Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
At 9:30 A.M., the workshops (Bel Air Hall) and networking sessions (Chesapeake Center) will begin at Harford Community College.
In order for Futures11 to be successful, we need your support in the following areas:

Staffing for exhibits in an expo-style set up
Approximately 450 high school juniors will take part, coming from the following programs:

Harford Technical High School (19 Career & Technology Education programs)

Science and Mathematics Academy at Aberdeen High School

Biomedical Sciences Program at Bel Air High School

Global Studies and International Baccalaureate Program at Edgewood High School

Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Program at Joppatowne High School

Academy of Finance Program at Edgewood High School

The cost of sponsoring one student for this event is $25.00. You may choose to sponsor one student or consider the following sponsorship levels:

1 – 10 students----------------Freshman level

11 – 20 students---------------Sophomore Level
-
21 – 30 students---------------Junior Level
-
31 – 40 students---------------Senior Level
-
41 or more students------------Graduate level
Your sponsorship will be recognized in the event program and all PR materials and can also be considered a tax deductible donation.
