HOW DO WE DO IT? The Foundation is staffed 100% by volunteers who believe strongly in the Foundation and its goals. These volunteers organize the following critical fundraisers for the Foundation during the course of the year: Wrapping Paper sales We also generate funds from Individual or Family Donations by our fantastic parent population, from our Business Partnerships and our continued efforts to attract Grants. If you have new fundraising ideas, or wish to participate, contact Lisa Whiston or any board member. Our Innisbrook Wrapping Paper fundraiser kicks off the first day of school each year with tremendous parent support. As this is our main fundraiser it is critical that both parents and students are excited about the opportunity to help Youth’s Benefit Elementary School. Innisbrook supplies a quality product needed in every home virtually every month of the year for Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, etc. Every student who submits an order receives a prize and we have awesome prizes for our top "sales-students." Help your school and help yourself by stocking up on quality wrapping paper and supplies. Contact Lou Ann Clotworthy or any board member for further information. Youth’s Benefit Educational Foundation sponsors a "Market Day" each month at school. Our market offers restaurant quality frozen foods from companies such as Tropicana, Tyson and Campbell. The Foundation earns 10 – 40% profit on the food items purchased and your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. We have had a great success with Market Day at Youth’s Benefit raising approximately $450 per sale. Funds from our Market Day have provided for our Classroom of the Future initiative: a program that installed wall-mounted televisions and VCRs in each classroom and provided scan converters (AverKey) for interfacing between the classroom computer and this equipment. If you are interested in Market Day and would like to place an order or view the various selections offered, click on www.marketday.com and check us out. Orders must be placed one week before the next delivery date. Thank you for your support. Contact Diane Tobin or any board member for further information. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation, please send your check to: Youth’s Benefit Educational Foundation An acknowledgement of receipt will be returned for your records. What is the Business Partnership Program? The purpose of the Area Business Partnership Program is to encourage businesses located in the area of Youth's Benefit Elementary School to become actively involved in the enrichment of the educational atmosphere of our community school. Virtually all donations collected are used to support a variety of purchases and activities benefiting the students and faculty of YBES. In return, member businesses will receive exposure for their quality products and services throughout the community served by YBES. The Educational Foundation is always looking
to bring greater opportunity to the students of Youth’s Benefit Elementary
School. One way is to seek either outright grants or matching funds for
special projects.
If you or your business is willing to donate or match resources please contact Jason Parks or any board member. |
