Annual Budget

The Youth’s Benefit Educational foundation supports many wonderful programs and projects at Youth’s Benefit Elementary School. On average, the Foundation raises approximately $40,000 per year though fundraisers, grants, parent donations and business partnerships.

The largest portion of our annual budget, approximately 60% is spent in technology, maintaining current equipment as well as upgrading and purchasing new equipment for classrooms and labs.

The second largest portion of the budget, approximately 37% is spent on Education. The Education Committee supports ongoing projects such as the Homework Club, Destination Imagination, The Patriot Programs, Science Night, etc. Also, we support continuing education for our teachers and administration. The Foundation is a resource for teachers who have the initiative to try special projects or find special speakers.

Less than 3% of the budget is spent on miscellaneous items such as publicity, publishing our newsletters and brochures, and other administrative expenses such as letterhead and paper.
