The Judy Center at Magnolia Elementary School began its play groups, which run throughout the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When the children arrive with their parents, they have an activity to work on together. Then they participate in a short circle time followed by a story. After story time, the children work on a craft with their parents. Following the craft, the children engage in activities to develop peer socialization skills while the parents participate in a parent workshop. The first play group was a success!
