Ryane Parlett of Joppatowne Elementary named a winner in poster contest
Harford County Public Schools recognized Joppatowne Elementary School fifth grader Ryane Parlett on December 15 at her school for winning first place in the 4th-5th grade level category of the Harford County 2017 Conservation and Stewardship Poster Contest. 

Her entry, titled “Which Side Would You Rather Be On?”, is one of three winning entries that will be reproduced and displayed in Harford County Government buildings, Harford County Public Schools, and Harford Public Library offices and buildings. 

Ryane received her award from Andrew Cassilly, Resource Conservation Manager for HCPS; Marlana McKenna, Harford County Government; Jeff Gipprich, Joppatowne Elementary School Assistant Principal; and Mrs. Kathleen Thompson, Gifted and Talented Teacher.
