Churchville Elementary is built on a rich foundation of history. For over 80 years, Churchville has been serving the community and generations of families. In 1932, the building first opened its doors and arms to students and families. The building originally opened as the Churchville Consolidated School, collecting students from one and two room school houses in the Churchville area. Throughout the years, the building has undergone additions and renovations which only added to its character. During these changes, the building maintained it original charm, but also the warm welcoming environment that is its hallmark.
Churchville is home of the, “Champion Chargers.” The teachers and staff work hand and hand with parents to support students. The mission of Churchville Elementary is, “Charging Towards Excellence.” Teachers are critical to our mission as they work each day to make it a reality in every classroom ensuring that all students are college and career ready. They are passionate about student success and use a variety of strategies and resources to achieve their goals. Students have access to the latest technology to help them succeed in the twenty first century. Many different teams share the responsibility for monitoring and improving student progress while maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment. It is no wonder students not only perform well on various state and county assessments, but also are warm, caring citizens
Churchville is grateful for the strong community and family based partnerships that support our entire staff. Students benefit from an extensive volunteer program, a highly active Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and a broad base of business and community partnerships.
We are proud of our heritage and achievements at Churchville Elementary School! Go CHARGERS!
