For over 55 years, Homestead Wakefield Elementary School has been a fixture in the Bel Air Community.  The school is nestled in the woods and shares its campus with neighboring Bel Air Middle School and is just a short walk from Bel Air High School.

We continue to be one of the largest elementary schools in Harford County averaging between 900 and 1,000 students.  The school serves children as young as three and four in our regional Early Intervention Program, as well as children in pre-k through fifth grade.

A very dedicated and involved PTA supports school initiatives and sponsors many family events throughout the year.  Their success has entitled them to be a model for other PTA organizations to emulate.

The compassionate and caring staff takes great pride in their school and enjoys celebrating successes alongside the students and parents.  Through the combined efforts of a dedicated staff, involved parents, and motivated children, Homestead Wakefield continues to shine on district and state assessments.

At Homestead Wakefield we continue to honor, cherish, and build upon the rich history and traditions from our past.  We also embrace the opportunity to work together with you to prepare children for their successes today, tomorrow, and well into the future.  Together, we will make a difference!

Sincerely,

Chris Cook
