STEM and Beyond Night at Aberdeen High School - Tuesday, April 4, 2017
2017 STEM & Beyond Night, April 4th, Aberdeen High School Fifteen interactive workshops will be offered to create awareness and excitement about STEM careers. Additionally, an exhibit hall will be available to broaden family awareness about year-round school and community resources, programs, and activities. Students will be included in a manner that is consistent with their age and academic level.
Students in 4th, 5th & 6th grade and their parents are invited to Aberdeen High School to participate in interactive STEM workshops and resource center.
Government employees, businesses, college professors and high school STEM students will be hosting three 20 minute hands-on experiences for participating students.
A critical element in the success of STEM and Beyond is to include parents from the onset so that students hear consistent messages at home and school.
