Howard Eakes,

Mr. Howard Eakes is a lifelong resident of Harford County. He has served the students of Harford County Public Schools as a Classroom Teacher, Assistant Principal, Assistant Superviser of Science and director of the Harford Glen Environmental Education Center. He holds a Master of Science Degree from McDaniel College, Bachelor of Science from Towson University and 30+ credits beyond the Masters degree. Mr. Eakes was also a seasonal Park Ranger and Park Naturalist of Rocks State Park.

In 2002 Mr. Eakes was chosen as Harford County Teacher of the Year. He was sponsored by the Rockwell Collins Corporation to attend United States Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Harford Glen Foundation.

Mr. Eakes resides in Street Maryland with his wife and 3 children.
