Aim

The aim category examines the relationships with stakeholders, its knowledge of stakeholder requirements and the characteristics that define world-class standards. Also examined are the methods for determining stakeholder satisfaction. Stakeholders may include the next grade/level/source, future employers, or parents.

Those with a strong commitment to and applying best practices of the aim category will be able to explain:

  • How they meet regularly with others to clarify and use district and state expectations to develop goals for highest student achievement.
  • How the process for determining degrees of stakeholder satisfaction and dissatisfaction and how they are used to establish new goals, modify existing goals, and guide improvement.
