The goals and measures category describes the planning process and how key requirements such as state, district, and school goals are integrated into overall school planning. Also described are the short and long term goals and how those plans are aligned to the School Improvement Plan and implemented.
Those with a strong commitment to and applying best practices of the goals and processes category will be able to explain:
- How they involve the students and use HCPS expectations in planning for highest student achievement.
- How they align the goals and measures to the requirements of the stakeholders.
- How they prioritize time and resources to accomplish goals.
- how they set high expectations for all students and challenge them to meet or exceed them.
