The three third grade social studies units are” People Together”, “Connecting People and Places” and “People,

 Power and Authority”. The social studies units are built around our community of Harford County. The students

 will learn about the components of communities, the economic factors that influence communities, how people and

 places around the world are connected and the cultural diversity within communities
