School Meal Information
All public school cafeterias in Harford County have a computerized register system. All students have a PIN (Personal Identification Number). When the students enter their number, they have access to their account. Parents can deposit money and prepay for breakfast, lunch or a la carte items.
If you do not designate whether your deposit is for a specific amount of breakfasts, lunches or a specific dollar amount for a la carte, then the deposit goes into the “on account” category and can be used for any of the three purchases.
When you put money on account, your child will get through the lunch line faster, you will not have to worry about lost lunch money, and each morning, as you are trying to get the kids out the door, you will not have to find cash for lunch!
You can now add to your child's account with a credit card or track your child's cafeteria balance by logging on to: http://www.cafeprepay.com

Why should Parents purchase Pre-Paid Meals?
-
Parents can decide how they wish to have their child utilize money that is deposited in their school meal account.
-
Pre-Paid Breakfasts can only be used to purchase a breakfast meal (breakfast item, juice and milk).
-
Pre-Paid Lunches can only be used to purchase a lunch meal (entrée, 3 fruit/vegetable choices and milk).
-
Money placed in the General Account can be used to purchase second entrees, beverages and any other ala carte items. Snack items cannot be purchased or charged once this account reaches a $0 balance.
-
Please be sure to inform your student of your expectations and how you are designating money to be spent.
