- What species of birds are nesting in the nesting boxes at Harford Glen?

- Surveyed nesting boxes by:
- Knock on nesting box.
- Listen (to find out what is in the box)
- Open the box
- Look at the nesting material to see what type of bird nests there (or if
there is any signs of a different animal species)
- Close the box and make sure the nail is in place

- There were signs of predation. (marks and scratches on most of the
boxes)
- Blue birds are nesting in the wetland.
- There was not any past evidence of house sparrows nesting at Harford
Glen.
- Besides birds we found wasps, spiders, and two tree frogs.
- In the boxes with other animals living there, there are no bird nests.
- House sparrow nests were found on top of other bird nests in the boxes.

- House sparrows are forcing native species out of their nesting areas.
- Predators are driving birds from their normal nesting area.
