Roye-Williams Elementary has an Art program to offer its students that is designed to educate the children in Art History, Art concepts, and Art skills. The program will also develop the children's thinking skills and eye-hand coordination. Students will receive Art one time a week.
Since students work with chalks, paints, and clay, they should come to Art class prepared to protect their clothing. A long shirt is suggested for wear.
Student work is continuously displayed in the main hall of the school. Art shows are held in conjunction with the Winter and Spring musical concerts.
