103 (Pre -Kindergarten)- Mrs. Colleen Shapiro

Mrs. Colleen Shapiro has a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.  She also has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon.  She has taught Kindergarten for four years at Roye-Williams Elementary.  This will be her first year teaching           Pre-Kindergarten.  Colleen is married and has a one year old daughter named Nora. 

101-Mrs. Kelly McCarty

Mrs. McCarty  is a Towson University graduate with and early childhood degree.  She has been at RWES for going on 7 years now.  Over these 7 great years she has had the opportunity to work in grades K, 1, and 3.  She is a wife and mommy of two children ages 4 and 1.  Mrs. McCarty likes to spend time with her 4 dogs in her spare time.  In addition she enjoys doing fun things with her family. 

102-Mrs. Lauren Barber

Mrs. Barber graduated from Harford Community College with a AA in general studies. Then she studied at Towson University and earned her Bachelor's Degree   in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching for six years (four years in first grade and two years in second grade). This is her first year teaching Kindergarten. Mrs. Barber has been teaching at Roye-Williams for five years. She is married and has two beautiful boys. Her oldest is three years old and her youngest is one year old.

104 Mrs. Carly Solle

Mrs. Solle  graduated from Towson University with his Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. She is working on her  Masters degree in Special Education. She has been working at Roye-Williams for two years and has taught Kindergarten for six years. Mrs. Solle is married and has a beautiful one an a half year old daughter named Morgan and a fantastic stepdaughter, Cora, who is eleven.

105 Mrs. Jodi Ford*

 

Diane Christy- Kindergarten Instructional Assistant

Mrs. Christy has been working at Roye-Williams for over 25 years. She was also in the army. Mrs. Christy has two sons, one grandson, and one grandson on the way.  In her free time she loves to read and dance. She enjoys going to church and hopes to one day be a pastor like her mother.

1 box of fat crayons (8 pack)

1 set of washable markers

6 glue sticks (to be replenished

as needed)

1 box of gallon size Ziploc storage bags

 

1 boxes of quart size

Ziploc storage bags

1 box of tissues

A full change of clothes- labeled with tape (socks and underwear too)-

in a Ziploc bag to kept in your child's book bag (just in case)

 

*We would appreciate the following donations:

  • Clorox or Lysol Wipes

  • Baby Wipes

  • Liquid waterless hand soap in a pump

markers (Expo Brand)(1 box thin/1 thick)

1 bottle of hand sanitizer

2 containers of baby wipes

1 pack of white paper plates

2 packs of Play-Doh (4 containers in each pack)
