Ms. Kori Templeton- Media Specialist

Ms. Templeton graduated from Kutztown University with her Bachelors degree in Education with the concentration in Library Science.  She received her Masters in Reading from Loyola College.  She is currently working on her second Masters in Library and Information Science with the concentration in Archives and Records Administration at University Wisconsin - Milwaukee. In her free time she enjoys reading, knitting and traveling to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

Mrs. Beth Caughey- Media Assistant

 

Mrs.  Caughey graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.  She also holds Comptia certifications in A+ and Network+.   Mrs. Caughey has been the Media Technician in the Roye-Williams library for twelve years. She is also a violinist in the Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra.  Mrs. Caughey is married and has two daughters, Kim, an Equine Veterinarian; and Lisa, a first grade teacher.   Mrs. Caughey and her husband live in Forest Hill.

 

The Program

The school is equipped with a fully automated media center.  Each classroom is assigned one media period per week.  Teachers may send students to the media center to do reference work at their discretion.  Students are responsible for returning books on or before the due date.  Rules and procedures for use of the media center will be discussed with the students by the Media Specialist.
 
 

Fines

There are no fines for late books.  Students not returning books on time will not be allowed to sign out another book until late books are returned.  If a student loses a book, a bill for the book (replacement cost) will be sent home.
