The Program
Our physical education program aims to develop physical
fitness skills for better use of leisure time, good sportsmanship, and the desirable
characteristics of working and playing together cooperatively. All
student are required to take physical education twice a week. Lack of
participation in physical education class, as in any other class, will affect
the grade received on the quarterly report card.
Required Attire
All children are expected to have gym shoes for physical
education class. This is an important factor in the prevention of
injuries. On physical education days, children should wear clothes
suitable for participation in activities such as exercises, stunts, tumbling,
etc.
Excuses
The school will recognize a note from the parent to excuse
the child from physical education for up to three days due to illness or
injury. An excuse for more than three days must come from a
physician.
