School Structure:

RWES is on a parallel block schedule for grades one through five. This provides a common planning time for each of the teachers in a grade level.

About our School:
Roye-Williams Elementary School Mascot

Welcome to Roye-Williams Elementary School. Our school takes great pride in our students, parents and staff. We strive to educate the whole child. We believe that children need a strong sense of self. We have programs in place to enhance the children's self worth. These programs include "I Believe in Me", "Calling All Eagles", "Top Hats" and mentoring.

The mission of Roye-Williams Elementary School is to foster a passion for learning and strength of character by providing our school community with maximum opportunities for educational, social, physical, and emotional growth by creating a positive environment where hard work is valued, fostering a sense of direction and pursuit of goals, encouarging intellectual independence, enhancing curiosity for learning, and promoting compassion for others and integrity in decision making.

We take our job of educating our students seriously and we await the arrival of each new student and their family. It is our hope that all students and their families will become active members of our learning community.

Community Involvement:

RWES strives to maintain strong ties to the community in many ways. Cornerstones of parent and community involvement include participation on the School Improvement Team.

Other activities held to promote parent/community involvement included Family Reading and Math nights.
