Welcome to Edgewood Elementary School where we are committed to excellence in education and where students, teachers, administrators and parents are dedicated to continuous progress and personal growth.  Edgewood Elementary a community school located in Edgewood, MD, in southern Harford County. Our school serves over 430 students, grades Pre-K through 5. We are a proud Maryland Green School and home of the 2014-2015 Harford County Public Schools Teacher of the Year! 

Our school’s motto is “Empowering All to Achieve!” As such, it is the mission of all faculty and staff to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that supports excellence and lifelong learning for all students. 

Edgewood Elementary School teaches students following a rigorous curriculum that addresses reading and language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, library, health, physical education, art, and instrumental and vocal music. We are proud to offer cutting edge technology. We focus on the integration of technology resources in daily instruction and every classroom has access to a Smart Board, computers, two computer labs, two mobile labs, and a live TV studio.

Edgewood Elementary School is truly part of the community serving the needs of our boys and girls.  The culture of the school exudes a “whatever it takes” attitude, a family atmosphere and positive environment.  We are proud to be Edgewood Eagles!
