Welcome to Roye-Williams Elementary School.  We have been a part of the Aberdeen and Havre de Grace Communities for over 60 years.  Our school is rich in history and we are proud to have the honor of our school being named after two prominent retired Harford County Public Schools principals; Mr. Leon Roye and Dr. Percy Williams.

Roye-Williams Elementary School has a diverse student population with students from our Havre de Grace and Aberdeen neighborhoods, as well as, students from within the county and country due to our large military and civilian population from Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Our educational program is designed to support the diverse needs of all our students.  Our teachers work collaboratively with other teachers and specialists to review current research and practices in order to ensure our students are receiving the highest level of instruction.  Our parents and community volunteers support our teachers and students in the classroom and throughout the school, as well as, a strong PTA who also provide many resources for our students and teachers.  This whole community commitment to our school helps to ensure the success of all.

At Roye-Williams Elementary, we believe every child should feel safe and have an environment that is conducive to learning.  This is facilitated through our “Top Hat” program. The students and parents understand and support our school-wide behavior program in order for all students to feel safe and succeed academically.
