Ring Factory Elementary School (RFES) is an inviting place where staff, students and parents support, respect and care for each other. The school's walls have housed some of the best and brightest students in Harford County, and the school is continuing its fine tradition of academic excellence. RFES has a comfortable family atmosphere, involved parents, and a very active Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The school, nestled just below downtown Bel Air, Maryland, is surrounded by 34 acres of beautiful greenery and gentle wetlands.

The staff members at RFES work together to prepare our students for the future.  A rigorous curriculum and the differentiation of instruction to meet students’ individual needs and learning styles are the platform to our success.  The on-going learning in which all staff engage provides cutting edge opportunities for all of our students.  In addition, we use technology to plan for instruction, monitor student progress and as a teaching tool.  We are increasing our students’ use of technology daily.

RFES offers a variety of programs and events that enhance the general curriculum and create opportunities for students to develop life-long character traits through teamwork, collaboration, communication and goal setting.  Some opportunities include, but are not limited to, Student Council, Patriot Program, Safety Patrols, After-School Enrichment Clubs, School Spirit Days, Jump Rope for Heart, Academic Fitness Awards, School Musical, Talent Show, Peer Helpers, Artist of the Month, and Good News Assemblies.
The mission at RFES is for each student to “Reach new heights in learning each and every day!”  We appreciate that parents, care givers and community members are a vital role in developing our leaders of tomorrow. Therefore, the home/school connection, constant communication and daily support create an optimal learning environment.

We welcome you to see our “Factory Foxes” in action!

Sincerely,
