North Bend Elementary School is located in a rural setting near Jarrettsville, Maryland. For more than 20 years, it has provided high quality education for children living in the area.  North Bend has a dedicated school community comprised of school staff, parents and local businesses who work together to provide a safe learning environment where all students can learn.

There are many different programs at North Bend Elementary designed to meet the needs and interests of our children.  Students can develop their talents in music, art, technology, and physical education. Students have the opportunity to participate in special programs such as before/after school intervention programs, Destination Imagination, Student Council, Patriot Program and various clubs sponsored by the PTA.

Our parent volunteer programs are second to none. Volunteers support every facet of the school program including the Patriot Program, the cafeteria, the classrooms, Reflection Program, and the after school clubs and other activities that take place during the year. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) works in concert with the staff to vigorously support all school programs and provides additional resources to assist teachers and students.

We are proud of our heritage and achievements at North Bend Elementary.  We view ourselves as building a community of learners fit for the future. This vision drives our mission to maximize each individual’s potential by creating quality educational and social opportunities within a safe environment.

Sincerely,

Robin M. Payne
