Church Creek Elementary School
CCES Means Success
About our School:
Our school is a very exciting place to learn. We have 5-7 classrooms at each grade level. Each of our classrooms opens to a large common area, which is used for small group and large group activities. The original part of our building opened in 1994 and our new addition opened in 2002.
The students and teachers at Church Creek Elementary work hard to do their best. If you visit us you will see students and teachers working together to learn new things. You will also see our students’ work proudly displayed in our rooms and hallways. At Church Creek Elementary we know it is important to be cooperative, caring, encouraging and safe. We know that when we do this we make Church Creek proud.
Community Involvment:
"CCES means Success" is our motto. We cannot spell S_CCESS without U. These concepts reflect our belief that consistent parent and community involvement must be an integral part of quality teaching and learning.
The CCES PTA is immersed in instructional decision making, volunteerism, governance/advocacy, learning at home activities, parenting issues, and fund-raising. PTA fosters several strong business links led by the Riverside Community Association. In our continuous efforts to provide and maintain an effective extension of our school's philosophy, we are part of a symbiotic relationship with the Belcamp Parks and Recreation Department. When the school day comes to a close, our building comes alive with basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, cub scouts, girl scouts, tap and ballet, and a variety of programs for the students and parents of CCES.
