North Bend Elementary School is located in a rural setting near Jarrettsville, Maryland. For more than 20 years, it has provided high quality education for children living in the area. North Bend has a dedicated school community comprised of school staff, parents and local businesses who work together to provide a safe learning environment where all students can learn.
There are many different programs at North Bend Elementary designed to meet the needs and interests of our children. Students can develop their talents in music, art, technology, and physical education. Students and families have the opportunity to participate in various special programs and activities that are sponsored by both the school and PTA, such as Reflections, Student Council, before/after school Intervention, Family Reading Program, STEM Night, Partent Academies, Running Club, Drama Club, Wellness Nights, etc. Volunteers support every facet of our school programs and the PTA works in concert with the staff to provide volunteers and financial support.
We are proud of our heritage and achievements at North Bend Elementary. We view ourselves as building a community of learners Fit for the Future: Academically, Socially and Physically. This vision drives our mission to maximize each individual’s potential by creating quality educational and social opportunities within a safe environment.
